This area grows the worlds largest brown bear ranging from 8-10 feet. Bears in the fall are when they are their largest as they are heading for hibernation. These highly active bears are found feeding at river or creek mouths.
Spring hunts are every even numbered year.
The dates for spring hunts are
May 10th - May 25th
In the spring you will experience a beautiful hunt as you glass through mountain ridges and snow covered peaks looking for a bore to come down off the mountain side.
